…Where did August go?? I feel like we just celebrated the 4th of July and suddenly, it’s almost September! I love summer so I’m a little sad to see it go so soon, but luckily it’ll stay warm where I live for a little while longer.
While Roxanne and I are still soaking up the sun, here are some of my favorite cruelty-free finds from this month:
Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel
What is it? “This decadent, lemon-rose shower gel is made with a vanilla pod infusion, goji berry juice and nourishing argan oil to leave skin soft, hydrated and sweetly scented.”
Why do I love it? You know me and Lush (well, if you don’t then just know…I’m a HUGE fan)! I love that everything is cruelty-free, fresh and smells so good. And this shower gel is no exception! I feel clean when I use it, it lathers well and it doesn’t leave any residue or feel sticky (…you know how some shower gels can do that).
Sun Bum Sunscreen Coconut Lip Balm
What is it? This lip balm with SPF 30 has added Aloe and Vitamin E to “protect and moisturize your kisser all day long.”
Why do I love it? 1. It smells SO GOOD (really…I have to remind myself not to lick my lips!). 2. It really moisturizes. The first time I put it on, I was shocked at how smooth it is. And last but certainly not least – 3. It helps protect my lips from the sun while wearing it.
Tatcha The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream
What is it? This is an “anti-aging eye cream that melts to release a double shield of hydration with line-smoothing liquid silk and moisture-locking Japanese White Peony for youthful, radiant eyes.”
Why do I love it? Tatcha isn’t kidding when it calls this “melting eye cream” it’s SO smooth and moisturizing! A little bit really goes a long way, and I feel like my eyes are immediately brighter when I use it.

Kylie Cosmetics Bunny & Maliboo Matte Liquid Lipsticks
What is it? This one is a twofer, because I couldn’t decide between the two! Maliboo is a “light cool-tone nude” matte lipstick and “cool midtone mauve” matte lipstick.
Why do I love it? I love Kylie’s matte lipsticks because they stay on through anything. I’ll add a little bit of gloss over it to give it to moisturizer it a bit but otherwise, I know I’m good to go for the day (or night) out! I’m also not too adventurous with my lipstick so these are the perfect nude / cool colors for me.
What cruelty-free products are you loving right now? Any specific products as we transition into fall? Let me know and I’ll check them out!
